Chris Nye is a pastor, writer, and professor living in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, Allison. He is most recently the author of Distant God: Why He Feels Far Away . . . and What We Can Do About It (Moody Publishers, 2016), and his writing has appeared in the Washington Post, Christianity Today, RELEVANT Magazine, Books & Culture, and various other publications. Currently, Chris serves as Director for the School of Ministry at San Francisco City Impact and as a pastor at the SF Worship Center in the heart of the Tenderloin District.
